Guest Services - Night Auditor (Part Time)

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Greets our guests as they enter the property and ensure efficient check in/out, and payment thereof. Anticipates the needs of the guests and carries out requests with quick and efficient results. Promote the services within our hotel and community to ensure a positive and memorable hospitality experience for the guests.


  • Greet guests with a smile, assist and direct them as required
  • Register guests and assign rooms; entering guest information as required
  • Answer incoming calls in a professional manner, direct caller to appropriate individual or take the appropriate information to assist the caller.
  • Auditing all charges and postings, correcting work as necessary
  • Reconciling daily activity and closing all accounts in preparation for next business day
  • Processing, formatting and distributing daily reports
  • Checking in / out guests in a professional and timely manner
  • Processing all payments according to hotel requirements
  • Managing and responding to guest requests and concerns
  • Ensuring the front desk is clean and properly stocked for the following day
  • Assist in the verification, balancing and revenue maximization of the hotel's availability
  • Balance room charges, cash, checks and credit cards if applicable

Qualities & Attributes

  • Minimum of high school diploma
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Must be willing and able to do overnight shifts
  • Ability and desire to acquire extensive knowledge about general functioning of the hotel as well as hotel sofware.
  • Ability to think practically and solve any problems as they arise
